After the fantastic reception we had last time I’m really looking forward to meeting more peeps and spreading the word on the Mayan Magic freshly made chocolate goodness.

The Launch

The Launch

Spending Thursday friday and Saturday on the shop floor of one of the most presigious shops in the world this raw chocolatier melted mixed and molded fresh chocolate delights for so many great people!

Our raw cacao beans went down a treat – for many it was their first try and they seemed to be instantly hooked.   The food of the gods lifted their already high spirits, bright eyes and big smiles were everywhere.

With Mayan Magic kits flying out of my hands and off the shelves budding chocolatiers across the country will this week be trying their hand at creating their own chocolate master piece – I for one am certainly looking forward to hearing all about their exploits!

On that same note we have some fantistic blogs and bloggers who are trying out the Mayan Magic kit and offering prizes for the best recipe ideas: check them out at:

Thank you to all those who dropped in to say hello and sample some chocolate – you are all welcome back this week!

Live chocolate-making in Selfridges

On Thursday the Chocolution will be arriving in Selfridges with a bang!

We ware the first Raw-chocolate to be on their shelves and we are looking forward to  putting on a fantastic show for everyone who drops by.  The Mayan Magic chocolate making kit went down a storm over easter weekend and with the word spreading rapidly we are really happy with the progress.

I will be demonstrating how easy it is to make chocolate from scratch and offering loads of tips and techniques for turning out the most magical chocollate treets imaginable.  Right now I’m preparing all the free samples – if I manage to not eat them all it will be a miricle!!!

Still a novice in the world of the blog, ive been working out how to use this app – also on twitter, which i think i’m just about set up on, plus the ever reliable facebook.

Meeting lots of amazing people on both sides of the project, recently been invited to meet with the enterprise schools co-coordinator for Kent to talk about our project  thechocolution.com which is also blossoming!  If anyone would like to be involved or has a good idea that would fit in please let me know.

See you there.

A chocolate making kit – how does that work?

Well its very simple.  We give you the finest quality organic raw ingredients and instructions together with flavour ideas so that you can create exceptional healthy chocolate at home and wow all your friends!

The kit contains:

  • Powders mix – Finest Raw Cacao (Nacional arriba cacao from Ecuador), Lucuma fruit powder, Peruvian carrob powder.
  • Butters mix – Cacao butter, coconut butter
  • Natural sweetener – Agave nectar

Together this makes 153g of very special chocolate.

Raw chocolate is on the rise both in the UK and US as people realise that chocolate can be healthy.  Its only the hydrogenated vegetable fats and refined sugar in ‘regular’ chocolate that have given it a bad rep.

Typically they are two of the top 4 ingredients – and if you haven’t done the research yet we suggest starting here:

http://www.alive.com/3107a6a2.php?subject_bread_cramb=151

Anyway – once you have dreamed up a recipe (or checked our free cookbook) you’re ready to go.

A real connoisseurs choice, mint and macadamia chocolate – never seen it anywhere else.

1tbs of mint, finely chopped, 3tbs of macadamia nuts roughly chopped, 1 tbs of maple syrup.

Simply add this to the chocolate mix, pour into mold and allow to set.

Fun to make, a joy to eat!

Chocolate philosophy – making is as fun as eating!

Mayan Magic and The Chocolution

“Our philosophy is based on sharing.  Sharing our chocolate-making expertise, sharing quality raw ingredients and most of all sharing delicious fresh chocolate with all our friends.” KR

“We love making quality chocolate and wanted to share this passion with everyone and put the fun back into the chocolate world. Becoming a chocolatier in your own kitchen is a beautiful experience  – we are sure you’ll love it!” JL

Exploration, innovation and creativity have been the hallmarks of our journey since day one.  The quality of our ingredients means that with minimal processes exceptional chocolate can be produced simply and easily.

Based in Kent all ingredients are organic, ethically sourced and hand packaged to the highest standards. Online we offer full support and resources for both inspiration and education.  We are also in the set up phase of running enterprise projects for young people in the local community.

We see ourselves as part of a bigger movement towards an informed, sustainable, and equitable future.

The Chocolution is here.  The Chocolution is now. Listen in and let the fun begin.

Chocolate making adventures

After epic adventures across the world the intrepid explorers came home with a plan to share the invigorating beauty and magic of all they had seen.
In love with the simplicity of nature, they created a natural chocolate recipe to stimulate the hearts and minds of all their friends.

Walnut and orange, ginger and lemon, the land was awash with fresh fruity chocolate flavours as one by one the whole world started to discover their own perfect flavour.

Free from dairy, sugar and additives the delicious chocolate brightened up the world and bought the Magic of the ancient Mayans to all who tried it.

Take our chocolate and make it yours.
